With all this talk of impending doom from a government shutdown I have one opinion: Bring it on! The government is truly bloated these days. For anyone who has lived in DC, you know exactly what I mean. There are useless jobs that the taxpayer is paying good money for. These aren’t just government employees, I am talking contractors as well. If the numbers took into account contractors, the public would see just how much money we are paying for services such as processing loan applications or security guards. Will we ever get these true numbers, probably not. The average American has no understanding of contact work anyway.

A good lawyer doesn’t tell you “No,” a good lawyer says “If you have to do this, here is how you get it done without getting in trouble.”

Independent Political Logo

Welcome to the Road to 2020 Blog, and the first stop for Independent Politics in the United States.  What is a group without a logo to represent it?  So, first and foremost, we shall represent ourselves as Independents under the logo of the White Lion.  The lion is symbolic of the original cartoon by Thomas Nast published in an 1870 issue of Harper’s Weekly. Although the lion is depicted as dead, Independents are not dead, and we can no longer be complacent in the politics of America.  Join the Independent White Lion movement and build a voice.
